Dr. Shah provides televisits to patients using a digital health and wellness application, healow. The app allows Dr. Shah to connect with patients, provide diagnosis and treatment options, prescribe medications and keep his patients engaged and invested in their health, virtually. The healow app and televisits give patients who have barriers to care, such as childcare issues, lack of transportation, or work obligations, to connect with Dr. Shah and receive timely care.
Curbside testing and drive-up care are also available at VitalCare Family Practice. Patients can receive Covid-19 testing from their vehicle, after being screened by team members over the phone. Drive-up care is offered for patients in an effort to protect patients, the team and the community while working towards flattening the curve while providing optimal care.
VitalCare Family Practice will be continuing televisits as an established part of their care plans for patients. While current regulations have changed the dynamic of Dr. Shah’s patient care, they have also allowed Dr. Shah to recognize the value in providing other avenues for his patients to seek routine healthcare in ways that fit into their home and work schedules with minimal disruptions. Curbside, drive-up and telemedicine visits allow him to see patients virtually while maintaining social distancing, and providing outstanding care.

New and established patients can download the healow app and schedule a televisit with Dr. Shah by accessing the patient portal on the VitalCare Family Practice website. Patients need to have an internet connection and a device, mobile phone or computer. After requesting an appointment, patients will receive a confirmation and can connect with Dr. Shah.
