VitalCare Family Practice is pleased to offer on-site lab services for your convenience so you don’t need to worry about going anywhere else to receive the care you need and deserve. We offer these services to our patients to save time and create a continuity of care such that all records and lab results will be readily available for you and your provider.

Independently owned, VitalCare Family Practice focuses on preventative care for the whole family through all stages of life. Dr. Amar Shah is a board certified family physician and serves as the medical director for Virginia Care Partners and as an assistant professor of family medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
Dr. Shah enjoys developing relationships with his patients that go beyond healthcare.
ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS
VitalCare Family Practice utilizes electronic medical records (EMRs) as a standard of care for all of our patients. Your lab results, health history records and prescriptions are securely stored in a database that is easy to access through the patient portal. Sharing medical records with a specialist is quick and efficient for your convenience. EMRs enable us to provide faster and more efficient diagnosis and treatments for our patients.
