Andrea Mayo, MSN, AGNP-C, joined VitalCare Family Practice in 2024 as a Nurse Practitioner. Andrea received both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. As a Registered Nurse, she received the National Daisy Award for her excellence in nursing care.

Andrea enjoys providing a sense of comfort to her patients by being a person they can turn to for any health concern. Her favorite part of her job is building lasting relationships with patients and helping them understand that they are so much more than their health condition.

A Norfolk native, Andrea enjoys the different shops and restaurants that Richmond has to offer. In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with family and friends, shopping, watching the Hallmark channel, and listening to music, especially R&B.
