MEET Casanndra Zierhart, PA-C, MSPAS
Casanndra (Casie) Zierhart joined the VitalCare Chesterfield team in 2026 as a Physician Assistant. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in child and adolescent development from California State University, Fullerton and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant from South University, Richmond, graduating with honors from both programs. She is also a member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society, which recognizes academic achievement, leadership, research and community and professional service.
Her clinical interests include women’s health, contraceptive management and preventative care. Casanndra chose family medicine because she was drawn to the unique opportunity to care for patients of all ages. She is passionate about building lasting relationships and takes a holistic approach to care, supporting individuals through both their challenges and successes. She prioritizes listening carefully, treating patients with respect and involving them in shared decision-making to ensure they feel heard and supported.
During her clinical training, Casanndra Zierhart found it especially meaningful to help patients feel more at ease during difficult experiences. In the ICU, she cared for a patient who was nervous about a procedure and took time to stay with her, explain each step and provide reassurance throughout the process. This experience strengthened her commitment to compassionate care.
Outside of the office, Casanndra loves spending time with her husband and two cats, Moby and Lizzie McGuire. She also enjoys reading, watching TV, exercising, baking, going to the beach and hiking. She has worked at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World, an experience that highlights her ability to connect with others. Originally from San Diego, CA, she appreciates the historic charm, friendliness and changing seasons of the Chesterfield area.
