MEET DR. JENNIFER MIHELIC
Dr. Jennifer Mihelic is a board certified Family Medicine Physician who is excited to join VitalCare’s Chesterfield team. Originally from Texas, she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Art from Oklahoma Baptist University before going on to earn her Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her Post Graduate Year 1 Family Medicine Residency (PGY-1) at Saint Rita’s Medical Center and her (PGY-2 and PGY-3) Family Medicine Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
Dr. Mihelic believes primary care is the backbone of all effective healthcare systems and that it is absolutely essential for patients to have a multidisciplinary team they can trust. As a family medicine physician, she is honored to lead her team, but humbly understands that it “takes a village” to care for patients.
An evidence-based medicine provider, Dr. Mihelic expects her patients to take an active role in their healthcare. She enjoys helping patients understand their health conditions and watching them invest in their health to live life to the fullest.
Outside of the office, Dr. Jennifer Mihelic enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, sketching and painting, working on house projects and exploring new places. You can also find her outdoors hiking, playing disc golf, soccer and other yard games.

Came in for a physical. Great and welcoming physician. Dr. Shah was very approachable and answered all my concerns. Their health app is intuitive and the doctor is responsive. The location is very bright and open and the small staff make it a more personable environment. Strongly recommend this practice!
