MEET HELEN RAMIREZ, PA-C, MSPAS

Helen Ramirez, PA-C, MSPAS, joins the VitalCare Family Practice team as a physician assistant at our West End location. A Richmond, Virginia native, she enjoys living in the city while also being able to spend time in nearby local and state parks. After attending Princeton University for her Bachelor of Arts in Religion, Helen received her Pre-Health Studies Certificate from Columbia University. She then went on to earn her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University, where she was inducted into the Pi Alpha National Honor Society for Physician Assistants.

Helen loves building relationships with her patients, learning their stories and having an opportunity to improve their quality of life. She is especially interested in sleep disorders and the implementation of healthy sleep habits. As a physician assistant, Helen aims to make patients feel empowered to ask questions and understand their diagnosis and treatment options.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

In her free time, Helen can be found reading, running and spending time with her family and friends. She also serves as a deacon at her church and practices the piano. On top of doing volunteer work, she enjoys helping with applicant interviews at her previous PA school and leading didactic lectures for current students.
