Meet Sia Ebitomi Boateng, DNP, FNP-C

Sia Ebitomi Boateng, DNP, FNP-C, joined the VitalCare Family Practice West End team in 2026 as a Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Nurse Practitioner degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Sia is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has experience in women’s health from her clinical rotations in school and clinical training in primary care, cardiothoracic surgery, home-based primary care and chronic disease management. She is also Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certified and has been recognized throughout her education for her commitment to patient-centered care, leadership and service.

Sia Ebitomi Boateng chose family medicine because she is passionate about making a positive difference in her patients’ lives. She genuinely cares about her patients as individuals, not just their medical conditions, and strives to create a space where they feel comfortable, respected and cared for. She especially enjoys helping nervous patients leave their appointments feeling informed and confident about the next steps in their care. Her goal is to work alongside each patient to develop a care plan that fits their unique needs and lifestyle, and she considers it a privilege to serve her community and help patients live healthier lives.

Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Sia enjoys exploring new coffee shops, browsing local markets, spending time outdoors, traveling and making memories with her family and friends when she is not at work.
