MARIANNA NUTTING, MSN, FNP-C

Marianna Nutting, MSN, FNP-C, joined VitalCare Family Practice in 2023 and serves as a family nurse practitioner. Marianna received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as well as her Master of Science in Nursing from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. She began her career in critical care, working both in the ICU and the ER, but found herself wanting the opportunity to build stronger and more long-lasting relationships with her patients. She then made the transition to the Hume-Lee Transplant Unit at VCU, where she was able to experience working closely with patients—and it was in this role she realized she was drawn to primary care.

Marianna chose to become a family nurse practitioner because of her innate love for people. Motivated by her desire to help her patients live better, healthier lives, Marianna focuses on offering preventive care and maintaining patient-provider relationships built on trust and common goals.

Although she grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina, Marianna is now proud to call Richmond, Virginia home. Outside of the office, she and her husband love spending time outdoors with their dog. Whether it’s pickleball, sand volleyball, hiking, working on a DIY home project or traveling to National Parks, Marianna enjoys living an active, adventurous lifestyle.
